The Syrian refugee crisis, one of the largest humanitarian emergencies of our time, has displaced millions since 2011—forcing families to flee war and instability in search of safety and dignity.
Through a series of video projects, we documented the lives of Syrian refugees resettling in Canada, alongside the sponsorship groups and community services that supported them. These stories also provided clear, practical information for others wishing to begin their own sponsorship journey.
This edit is a shorter version of a longer film, featuring the voices of both a Canadian sponsor community and a Syrian family who came to Canada seeking safety and the chance to build a new life.
